Kool & The Gang
Kool & The Gang è una band crossover R&B-pop di Jersey City, USA. Si sono formati nel 1964 come un gruppo jazz chiamato The Jazziacs. Nel 1969 firmarono per la De-Lite Records e pubblicarono il loro album auto-nominato.
Alla fine degli anni '70 passarono dal funk puro e profondo alla discoteca ed ebbero più successo.
Nella band ci sono Robert Bell, Ronald Bell, George Brown, Dennis Thomas, Robert Mickens, Clifford Adams, James Taylor, Sonnie Martin, Rodney Ellis, Jirmad Gordon e Shawn McQuiller.
La loro canzone "Jungle Boogie" appare nel film Pulp Fiction del 1994.
