Alan Zweibel (nato il 20 maggio 1950) è un produttore e scrittore americano. È stato uno degli scrittori originali del Saturday Night Live. Lui e Garry Shandling sono stati i co-creatori di Showtime's It's Garry Shandling's Show. Zweibel è nato da una famiglia ebrea a Brooklyn ed è cresciuto nei sobborghi di Wantagh e Woodmere a Long Island. Zweibel si è diplomato alla George W. Hewlett High School e alla University at Buffalo, The State University of New York. Nel 2006, Zweibel ha vinto il Thurber Prize for American Humor per il suo libro The Other Shulman.
